What Do People Really Think?

It's interesting. When I talk with people about the law surrounding drinking and driving, many feel that the law should be tough. What's more interesting is they don't realize how "tough" (unfair) the law already is. Once it is explained, most are shocked and dismayed.

MADD and others like them have spent millions of dollars over the years slanting and distorting the facts as they relate to drinking and driving to the point that the public is hopelessly misinformed. It is my hope that in some small way, this website will help to bring proper perspective and common sense back to the drinking and driving issue. It has been hijacked by emotion and misinformation for too long. The resultant law no longer even remotely serves the public interest.
